I enjoy empowering students through Psychoeducation and skill building. I believe all behavior has purpose and work with the client to identify the underlying motivation behind the (maladaptive) behavior. I focus on building rapport with clients by utilizing humor when appropriate and maintaining a non-judgmental perspective.

My supervision style is similar to my therapeutic style. I utilize an integrative approach that is driven by the needs of the supervisee. I place an emphasis on case conceptualization, theoretical orientation and self-care and wellness.

My professional interests include eating disorders and body image concerns, 危机干预, working with individuals in abusive relationships, LGBTQIA和创伤.

The groups I am facilitating are Stress-Less, Lifeline, Beating Stress and Beating Depression. I am also chair of the SSU Eating Disorders Awareness Committee, which operates in conjunction with the National Eating Disorders Awareness (NEDA) campaign.

I employ an integrative approach that is primarily based in Feminist theory and integrates Solution-Focused, 认知行为, 和现实治疗技术. I received my Master’s degree in Counselor Education from Ohio University with a specialization in clinical mental health counseling in May of 2020. I’m also a graduate of 肖尼 State University and obtained my Bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2018.
